Inspired by the entire historical, social and cultural life of a family and a region, Ideal & Co decided to have as a starting point, and inspiration for each collection, the richness of materials as well as the natural and human resources of the Aire and Candeeiros mountains natural park.
Ideal & Co aims to stimulate and breathe new life into the small workshops and local artisans that still work these products in a traditional manner.
Each piece is molded, glued and sewed by an individual artisan, using ancient knowledge that has been passed through generations. When an artisan focus solely on one piece he is able to test it and refine it in such a way that when ready the final product will be like no other.

Inspirada por todo o contexto histórico, social e cultural de uma família e de uma região, a Ideal & Co decidiu ter como ponto de partida e inspiração a cada colecção, a riqueza de materiais, recursos naturais e humanos do Parque Natural da Serras d’Aire e Candeeiros.
A Ideal & Co ambiciona dinamizar e dar nova vida a pequenas oficinas e artesãos locais que trabalham ainda de forma tradicional estes produtos. É com o auxílio das mãos hábeis destes artesãos que vincam, colam e cosem cada peça individualmente, usando conhecimentos antigos, que passaram de geração em geração, que se testam e afinam detalhes que fazem toda a diferença no acabamentos das peças, tornando-as especiais e únicas.
