Lapiás is a carefully crafted weekend bag that draws on our experience designing timeless travel goods for thoughtful adventurers. Handmade in Portugal with vegetable-tanned leather by experienced artisans, Lapiás is the perfect weekender for any occasion, whether a trip to a city or a couple of weeks in the wilderness.
Functionality and attention to detail were also not left to chance, featuring several practical compartments with YKK zippers, side leather straps to put in a jacket or newspaper and an adjustable strap to carry it on the shoulder.

Vegetable-tanned full-grain leather constitutes the backbone of the Ideal & Co collection, giving our leathers unique natural characteristics and keeping its natural texture intact. Our leather is tanned with vegetable tannins and dyed with natural water-soluble colourants, developing a rich patina over time. We also use selvedge canvas to produce our bags and backpacks, a material exclusively created for Ideal & Co by the last factory in the Iberian Peninsula that manufactures this sturdy 100% cotton fabric.
