Very close to Cabanas de Tavira, is located Pensão Agrícola, a well designed rural hotel opened in 2015. Built in 1920 as a wedding gift to the daughter of the owners, the small farm retained its agricultural activity until 1970. After four decades of closure and oblivion, the space kept memories of the past, including photographs and furniture, elements that were integrated into the Atelier Rua’s project. Apart from taking advantage of these pieces of history, Atelier Rua mission was to reconvert the original house and build three new volumes of contemporary lines, which would give place for new rooms.
